GREATER THINGS

This past week ,at Aletheia Norfolk, we celebrated the most significant moment in all of history…THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST, THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. We cried out to God prior to Sunday that He would move greatly on our behalf and He overwhelmingly answered. We had our largest crowd to date at our worship gathering and we saw 9 people make a profession of Faith in Jesus. As thankful as we are in this, we know that there is much more to be done. There are still people who are far from God that need to come to new life in Christ and there many more that desperately need to become true disciples of Him. There are churches that need to be planted on/near the campuses of Norfolk State, Hampton U., CNU, and W&M. There are churches that need to be planted in the country of Togo where we have our missions partnership. There are lives that need to be restored, addictions that need to be broken, marriages that need to be restored, friendships that need to be mended, and people mobilized all for the sake of the Gospel and the glory of God. With that being said…there are greater things to be done. Let’s get busy and let’s take to the streets and love this city for the sake of the Gospel and for the Glory of Him.

Greater things are still to be done
In this city
Greater things have yet to come
And greater things have still to be done here
