Where was I 365 days ago? Officially, 365 days ago we moved here to Norfolk, Va. with all of our stuff and arrived at our house to be greeted by a crazy lady yelling at us and telling us that we didn’t belong here. At times, We wondered if she was right…but God definitely had different plans. We had our first bible study in our house a year ago and I think 9 people came. One year later… 36 people showed up for our on-campus meeting and 20 people came back to our house for a leaders meeting. We have seen 20 people or more trust Christ! 3 People have been baptized and another hopefully next week!
People have stepped up in discipleship and leadership! Teams are being formed! Evangelism is taking place! People far from God are coming to new life in Christ and becoming true disciples of Him! Last night we had a bunch of visitors that were stoked to come out! We also had a guy come out who had never been to church in his life! After our worship gathering the guy called the Jayson, who brought him, and said he never thought when he came to church did he think that he would feel so welcomed and part of a family…BUT HE FOUND THAT and WAS STOKED!!!! THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS…KEEP IT UP….They are working!!! God is faithful!
