Many of the greatest lessons that I have learned lately have not been from success but from stupid mistakes that I have made. One of these is that sometimes loyalty to certain people in your life can blind you to the obvious. Sometimes we can get so close to someone that we can’t see the flaws that they are asking and dying for you to help them with. I just want to confess that Pastors, including me, aren’t perfect! We make mistakes. Many times our mistakes carry a greater weight, that would be the only difference. Because of this, this is why we need more support…more encouragement…more pats on the back…more gift cards…more team mates…more prayer… Because what we do holds eternal implications. I just learned today of a 2 former pastors and friends who messed up with money and on who messed up morally and dis-qualified himself from ministry. Wow! Our mistakes hold huge implications. My confession is that I am not perfect and I mess up to but I sure need your prayers that those mistakes lead to learning and that my steps will be “ordered by the Lord.” Pray for us…Were praying for you! Don’t be afraid to fail or make a mistake because ” in our weakness He is made strong”!
